I am a Perth born and bred girl who loves the beach!

My parents, having raised a brood of children, knew that given time and rest the body could heal itself. That was in the 1970’s which I feel was the end of the living-life-simply era.

These days we are bombarded with toxic chemicals, information, technology and an addiction to being busy so healing is not as easy as it used to be. 

Having grown up around hospitality from a very young age, naturally I pursued a cheffing career. Despite persevering in a demanding industry for nearly 20 years, my mental & physical health was deteriorating.

Ayurvedic medicine captured my attention in 1996 and I was strongly drawn to the concept of herbal medicine so when it was time for a career change I knew what to do.

In 2004, under the guidance of a master herbalist, I studied for an advanced diploma of Naturopathy here in Perth in beautiful rambling herbal gardens.  While raising a family, I undertook further post-graduate studies part-time. 

I am grateful to have worked alongside dedicated and insightful practitioners of many modalities to expand my awareness that healing comes in many unexpected forms and that healing is a journey, not just a destination.
